Let’s try McDonald’s in Malaysia
I’m a big fan of McDonald’s everywhere. Malaysian McDonald’s is not the exception. I love trying every country’s McDonald’s since I can feel the differences between countries directly. First, we call McDonald’s “McD” in Malaysia. It is different from Japan. In Japan, we call it “Macudo” or “Mac.” It depends on which dialects people use.
The menu difference
In Malaysia, there are rice dishes on the menu! It is the most surprising thing. In Japan, there is no menu with rice. Do you remember the dish I showed you in my last blog called “Nasi Lemak”? It is also the signature dish in fast food restaurants’ in Malaysia. Moreover, since Malaysia is a Muslim country, all of the menu items are Halal. It is also a big difference between them.
The favourite menu for Japanese stores
As a good point about Japanese stores, I can say the variety of the menu. There are a lot of seasonal menus, so you will never get bored. However, if I include every menu to choose my favourite, it will take forever to choose my favourite. At this time, I will just choose the normal menu sold through all seasons.
Samurai Mac!!
It has two flavours: one is double beef and cheese, and the other is beef, tomato, and bacon! Both of them are really nice, but my favourite one is the Samurai Mac with tomato, bacon, and beef. It has a lot of flavour, and the highlight of this hamburger is the sauce! This sauce is so tasty that I can bet you will like it. This is called “Aburi.” It is a Japanese culinary technique that involves searing or lightly grilling fish or seafood using a handheld torch or a blowtorch. The term “aburi” means “flame-seared” in Japanese. The technique is often used to prepare sushi and sashimi, as it adds a subtle smoky flavour and enhances the natural texture of the dish.
Teriyaki Mac
It is definitely the most famous burger in the world at Japanese McDonald’s.
The favourite menu for Malaysian stores
Though Malaysia doesn’t have seasons, it actually has a lot of timely meals. I didn’t know I could enjoy McDonald’s in Malaysia so much. Mostly menus are a bit spicy though they are addictive. My favourite burger from Malaysian McDonald’s is definitely…
For the other meals, I love fried chicken from McDonald’s. It has two flavours: one is original, and the other is ot and spicy. I prefer the original one since I’m not good at taking spicy foods. It is so fluffy, tender, and juicy! I always order Nasi Lemak with two chickens, though I think it is too much for a girl. I always finish eating, and I really enjoy it. McDonald’s Nasi Lemak is available only in Malaysia!! You cannot miss it when you come to Malaysia!!
